Diploma of Food Science and Technology
Food science and technology involves the study of food chemistry, microbiology, mathematics, quality systems and food safety, sensory analysis and the processing of food. This Diploma is your pathway to a variety of careers in the dynamic and growing food technology industry. You’ll learn about the science that underpins food development and processing foods. Gain practical skills as you research and develop a new food product, participate in industry tours, and produce a range of value-added food products including, ice cream, confectionery, processed meats and jams and sauces. Enjoy learning from experienced food industry professionals as you study in our world class facilities. Entry Recommendations This course is recommended for those interested in the Food Science industry in areas such as Research and Development and Food Science Technologies. Attendance Requirements (subject to change) Classes are conducted Monday to Friday 10.00 to 5.00pm.
