An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced and inspiring Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across Crown Perth.

About the Role

As a key member of the Leadership Team you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations across multiple outlets, delivering exceptional food experiences while driving performance, innovation, and people leadership.

You will lead large, diverse teams and play a critical role in shaping culinary strategy, maintaining operational excellence, and enhancing guest experiences across our world-class venues.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end culinary operations across restaurants, bars, events, and high-volume outlets
  • Drive menu innovation, food quality, and consistency across all venues
  • Optimise kitchen operations, workflows, and service delivery
  • Partner with operational leaders to deliver seamless guest experiences

Financial & Commercial Performance

  • Own and manage culinary budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Monitor performance metrics including food cost, labour, and productivity
  • Deliver revenue growth through menu engineering and innovation

People Leadership

  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a large, multi-layered culinary workforce
  • Build a high-performance, inclusive team culture
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and capability development

Compliance & Safety

  • Maintain rigorous food safety, HACCP, and compliance standards
  • Champion a strong health and safety culture across all kitchens
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and organisational requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Extensive senior culinary leadership experience in large-scale, multi-outlet environments
  • Proven ability to lead and influence large teams within complex operations
  • Strong commercial acumen, including P&L ownership and cost management
  • Experience delivering high-volume, premium dining experiences and large-scale events
  • A passion for innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Qualifications

  • Formal culinary qualification (Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
  • Food Safety and HACCP expertise
  • Advanced qualifications in hospitality or leadership (desirable)
