About the role
The Support Officer - Community Mobilisation provides vital customer service, administration, training and systems support that underpins the volunteer and member experience at Red Cross.
This role comprises varied duties which include administrative and system support: inbox management, volunteer and member enquiries as well as branch support. The Support Officer will work with the Officer – Community Mobilisation to support the consistent and efficient steps to attracting, retaining, and resource planning of volunteers and members.

- Great customer service skills with the ability to prioritise work and service requests
- Creative thinker with the ability to collaborate and apply technology to solutions
- Ability to train and build the capacity of others in systems and processes
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of people
- Strong commitment to Reconciliation
- Working knowledge and relevant experience in working with and supporting volunteers and/or members
Mandatory requirements:
- A Working with Children Check
- Current Australian Drivers Licence

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 3. Salary from $76,372.40 + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
