Classification: ANU Officer 5 (Administration)
Salary package: $87,570 - $95,530 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full-time, Continuing

The Position

The UX/UI Design Coordinator supports the delivery of user-centred digital experiences across the University's web ecosystem. Working within the Web and Digital Services team in the Brand and Marketing Office, this continuing full-time role contributes to the design, optimisation and continuous improvement of web interfaces, with a particular focus on future student journeys and key university digital touchpoints.

The Person

The successful candidate will bring demonstrated foundational experience in UX/UI design, supported by a portfolio of web or digital interface work. You will be proficient in Figma or equivalent design tools and have experience supporting the design process from concept through to delivery, including wireframing and prototyping. You will bring strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills, an understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), and a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion. The ability to work collaboratively across technical, content and business teams is essential.

The School/Department

The Brand and Marketing Office (BMO) is part of the International and Future Students (IFS) Division within the Education Portfolio. The BMO plays a central role in delivering consistent, high-quality digital experiences aligned to the University brand, accessibility standards, and user needs. The Web and Digital Services team sits within BMO and is responsible for maintaining and improving the University's centrally managed websites and digital platforms.
