We are seeking a Workshop Mechanic to support our Derrimut team with carrying out high‑quality mechanical maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on company vehicles, trucks, and trailers. This role ensures all fleet assets are safe, reliable, and compliant with regulatory and operational standards. About the Role Key duties: Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs on vehicles, trucks, trailers, and associated equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults. Undertake engine overhauls, brake repairs, suspension work, drivetrain repairs, and fault rectification as required. Ensure all work is completed to manufacturers’ standards, service checklists and organisational safety expectations. Maintain accurate service and repair records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Attend to emergency breakdowns as instructed using the company field service unit. Support the team with ongoing workshop improvements. About You You are a fully qualified Mechanic You have a current HR or HC licence (essential) You have previous experience in fleet, trailer or heavy vehicle maintenance You have the ability to use a range of diagnostic tools You have high attention to detail and quality workmanship You have a strong commitment to safe work practices
