We’re Looking For
A senior insurance leader to shape and lead Stockland’s enterprise wide insurance and claims strategy, protecting our people, assets and financial resilience across a diverse national portfolio.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Stockland’s enterprise wide insurance strategy and annual insurance renewal program across property, liability, construction, cyber, financial lines and specialty covers.
- Provide senior oversight of all corporate and operational claims, including complex and high value matters, working closely with brokers, insurers, loss adjusters and legal advisers.
- Drive loss prevention and risk engineering outcomes by partnering with asset teams, WHS and operations to reduce claims frequency and severity.
- Oversee insurance valuations and portfolio integrity to ensure accurate asset data, underwriting information and compliance with insurer requirements.
- Deliver high quality executive and committee reporting, governance, and continuous improvement across insurance, claims and portfolio performance.
This is a permanent leadership role within Enterprise Risk & Resilience Team, reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk & Resilience. The role exists to ensure Stockland’s insurance program remains robust, commercially efficient and aligned to our evolving risk profile, enabling confident decision making and long term value creation.

You thrive in complex environments where your expertise protects people, assets and outcomes, and you are motivated by making a meaningful impact across a large and diverse organisation.
Experience & Skills That Count
- Extensive senior experience leading large corporate insurance programs and annual renewals in complex or listed environments.
- Proven capability managing complex and high value claims, including litigation exposure and insurer negotiations.
- Deep technical expertise across insurance program design, policy interpretation, valuations and risk transfer strategies.
- Strong financial and analytical capability with experience in premium modelling, claims reserving and portfolio analysis.
- Tertiary qualifications in insurance, risk, law, finance, business or property, with professional insurance qualifications highly regarded.
