Join our civil team and play a key role in delivering real infrastructure outcomes for the community. This is a hands-on role suited to engineers or experienced technical specialists who enjoy being out on site, solving problems and supporting the delivery of civil works. You’ll provide practical technical advice, supervise works across both new greenfield developments and the maintenance of existing infrastructure, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. Working closely with engineers, planners and project managers, you’ll be involved in everything from scoping works and coordinating programs through to monitoring quality, safety and performance on the ground.

In this role, you’ll also take ownership of specialist construction projects, providing clear advice and updates to internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders. You’ll contribute to the delivery of Council’s Capital Works and Maintenance Programs, support continuous improvement of processes, and help guide field teams to achieve practical, fit-for-purpose engineering outcomes.

If you’re someone who enjoys applying your technical expertise in a real-world environment, values teamwork and wants to make a visible difference in local infrastructure for the community, this is a great opportunity to step into a varied and rewarding role.
