CWDY Enterprises Pty Ltd is a meat processing and supply chain operations subcontractor based in South Australia. The company supports established wholesale meat supply operations, including Subway Meats, by managing key subcontracted parts of the processing and supply workflow. Our teams work focus is practical, time-sensitive and output driven. The business oversees and is responsible for supply chain operations pertaining to chilled meat products that have already been slaughtered and eviscerated, then further processes them through boning, packing, stock handling and dispatch preparation.
Our team is responsible for managing raw material allocations, processing efficiency, output yield, workflow coordination, stock control and the preparation of finished goods for outbound movement. This means we own ongoing operational responsibilities within a larger meat supply chain. As daily volumes and coordination requirements continue to grow, CWDY Enterprises Pty Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Supply and Distribution Manager to take ownership of its internal supply, storage, processing support and dispatch preparation functions.
About the Role
The Supply and Distribution Manager will oversee the movement of goods through CWDY’s internal operations, from raw material allocation through to stock handling, processing coordination, packing, storage and dispatch readiness. This role will help CWDY maintain stronger control over material usage, stock movement, workflow timing, output targets and operational performance. The position will also support communication with management, staff, contractors, service providers and relevant supply chain contacts.
This is a hands-on management role. It is suited to someone who understands how to keep people, stock, space and timing working together in a busy food processing environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Supply and Distribution Manager at CWDY Enterprises Pty Ltd will undertake duties including, but not limited to, the following:
• Plan, implement and monitor supply, storage, stock movement and dispatch preparation workflows within CWDY’s processing operations
• Coordinate the movement of chilled meat products from raw material allocation through to processing, packing, storage and handover readiness
• Manage stock planning and inventory control to support processing continuity, required output levels and efficient use of allocated materials
• Monitor raw material usage, finished product quantities, stock movement and output yield to help CWDY maintain efficient production outcomes
• Review storage and inventory practices across temperature-controlled areas to support product quality, traceability and operational readiness
• Oversee systems used to record incoming materials, stock movements, processing output, packed goods and dispatch preparation requirements
• Coordinate procurement-related activities, including material requirements, stock availability, supplier communication and operational planning
• Work with CWDY management on daily workflow planning, capacity requirements, labour allocation and production priorities
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, service providers and supply chain partners regarding product requirements, quality standards, timing and workflow expectations
• Participate in daily operational planning, including order consolidation, allocation of work and coordination of processing priorities across product types
• Manage order preparation and dispatch readiness to ensure products are processed, packed, labelled and prepared according to required schedules
• Coordinate outbound supply arrangements through communication with relevant contractors, service providers and supply chain contacts
• Liaise with relevant sales or supply chain contacts where required to confirm order accuracy, product details and execution requirements
• Supervise and coordinate staff involved in boning, packing, warehouse support, stock handling, quality handling and dispatch preparation
• Monitor workforce allocation and staff performance to keep CWDY’s daily processing and packing workflow organised and efficient
• Respond to operational issues including stock discrepancies, processing delays, supplier issues, product shortages, workflow interruptions and changing order requirements
• Maintain oversight of cold-chain handling practices across chilled meat processing, storage, packing and dispatch preparation
• Review stock flow, labour use, processing efficiency, output performance and dispatch readiness to identify practical improvement opportunities
• Assist senior management with planning around operational capacity, workforce needs, workflow structure and future business growth
• Support CWDY’s ability to meet output requirements while maintaining quality, efficiency, accuracy and reliable operating standards
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of CWDY’s internal systems, procedures and supply chain performance
Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes
At CWDY Enterprises Pty Ltd, we are looking for an experienced and practical operator who can bring structure, calm decision-making and strong supply chain knowledge to the business.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
• Extensive experience in supply chain, warehouse, logistics, procurement, inventory, dispatch or distribution management
• Strong ability to coordinate stock movement, production workflow, storage systems, order preparation and operational planning in a fast-paced environment
• Experience supervising staff, operational teams, casual workers and external contractors
• Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse systems, stock movement, cold-chain handling and dispatch preparation
• Experience in food processing, meat operations, cold-chain logistics, wholesale supply or other perishable goods environments will be highly regarded
• Ability to manage output targets, processing efficiency, stock control and daily workflow with strong attention to detail
• Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to improve systems without disrupting daily operations
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to coordinate with CWDY management, staff, contractors, service providers and supply chain contacts
• Sound commercial awareness relating to stock control, yield, labour use, cost efficiency and operational performance
• Ability to take ownership of CWDY’s day-to-day supply and distribution outcomes while supporting the broader needs of the business
Qualifications and Experience
• A relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain management, logistics, operations, business or a related field would be advantageous, but is not essential
• At least five years of relevant management experience in supply, warehousing, logistics, dispatch, inventory or distribution operations may be accepted in lieu of formal tertiary qualifications
• Substantial senior-level experience in food, meat, wholesale distribution or other perishable-goods operations will be highly regarded
