About the role:

As Stevedore Coordinator, you’ll lead the coordination of port-based transport activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

  • Plan and supervise daily stevedoring and transport tasks
  • Manage capacity and scheduling in alignment with customer agreements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on operational plans, approvals, and infrastructure works
  • Oversee safety, service standards, and compliance within the operational area
  • Support incident response and lead investigations as needed
  • Maintain accurate reporting and system records, including rosters and payroll

About You:

We’re looking for a hands-on leader with strong operational insight and experience in logistics or stevedoring environments.

  • Experience in logistics, stevedoring, or transport coordination
  • Proven leadership in high-volume, safety-critical settings
  • Sound knowledge of safety management systems and compliance frameworks
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficient in using operational systems for planning, reporting, and data entry
  • Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
  • Flexible and available to work on short notice, including irregular hours and weekends as required
