In the role of Senior Business Banking Manager, Chatswood, you will join a high-performing team of Business Bankers who are driving real impact for customers—focused, empowered, and committed to keeping things simple. Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Develop, lead and execute business development strategy across both existing and new‐to‐bank broker‐introduced and proprietary Business Banking customers
  • Work with the Complex Lending Solutions and Deal Structuring & Execution teams in the preparation of business lending proposals, including obtaining and analysing business and industry information, and ongoing portfolio management.
  • Initiate solutions to stimulate customer growth in the local market and implement yearly business plans for your complex portfolio.
  • Support the delivery of the local area’s performance as measured through customer advocacy, financial metrics and employee engagement.
  • Contribute to the growth of the team by coaching and developing junior colleagues through everyday interactions.

  • Substantial experience in business, commercial or private banking.
  • Proven ability to build, maintain, and leverage strong internal and external networks to drive business growth and customer engagement, experience dealing with brokers preferred.
  • A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong capability in building both personal and enterprise brands in internal and external markets.
  • A broad knowledge of banking products and services, including transactional and e-commerce solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate widely across various business units to obtain the best outcome for our customers.
  • The ability to provide technical advice and guidance to customers and other banking departments regarding debt products and deal structuring.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, business or related fields are highly desirable.
