The Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands‐on Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor to support high-volume stewarding operations across multiple kitchens and food & beverage outlets at Crown Sydney.
Reporting to the Stewarding Manager, you will lead large, diverse teams to maintain exceptional kitchen hygiene, cleaning standards, and back-of-house operations across a premium hospitality environment.
This is a highly operational role suited to someone with strong knowledge of commercial kitchen cleaning, stewarding systems, HACCP standards, and team leadership within a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise stewarding operations across multiple kitchens and outlets, ensuring consistent hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Lead, roster and support stewarding teams to ensure effective coverage and performance
- Oversee safe and compliant use of cleaning chemicals, kitchen equipment and machinery
- Implement and maintain structured cleaning schedules aligned with food safety / HACCP requirements
- Conduct risk assessments and proactively manage WHS, compliance and safety standards
- Maintain a strong on-floor presence during peak service periods
- Partner closely with culinary and operational teams to deliver seamless service
About You
You are a proactive and organised hospitality professional who leads from the floor and takes ownership of standards, safety and team performance within a high-volume environment.
You will also bring:
- Availability to work full-time across a 24/7 rotating roster
- Previous experience in stewarding, kitchen cleaning, or back-of-house operations within hotels, large venues or high-volume hospitality
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP
- Experience with rostering, team leadership, chemicals and cleaning systems
- Confident leadership, communication and delegation skills
- Ability to prioritise and work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
