Tyre Sales & Installer Supervisor - FullTime Melbourne - East | | | *** Costco Ringwood * Full Time 38hrs * Rotating roster which will include morning, evening and weekend work** Position Summary Supervises and participates in the daily operations of the Tyre Centre. Implements and upholds proper Tyre Centre and general safety procedures and standards. Maintains courteous member service at all times while monitoring a smooth flow of members in and out of the Tyre Centre. Job Duties/Essential Functions * Develops, coaches, counsels, and directs Tyre Centre personnel * Provides feedback to promote teamwork and accountability among employees * Interactively monitors employee performance and participates in performance reviews as needed * Works with the Tyre Centre manager in employee staffing and maintenance; interviewing, hiring and reviewing * Provides recommendations for resolving personnel issues and training * Writes, reviews, and adjusts Tyre Centre schedules and coordinates employee lunches and breaks * Implements and upholds proper Tyre Centre and general safety procedures and standards * Assists members with purchasing tyres and writes Tyre purchase and service invoices * Answers questions, makes recommendations, and provides prompt and courteous member service * Calculates refund amounts for warranty returns of tyres and auto batteries and approves product refunds * Performs Tyre Centre services as needed, including installing, filling, and balancing tyres * Assists the Tyre Centre Manager in addressing Tyre Centre budget, training, staffing, supply order and scheduling needs * Performs torque wrench certification testing monthly * Communicates with the Tyre Centre Manager, Receiving Department, Buyers and Inventory Auditors regarding orders, quantities, statuses, prices, deliveries, and promotions of merchandise * Coordinates and performs preventative maintenance and arranges repairs for machinery and equipment * Coordinates and participates in cleaning and monitors the cleanliness of the sales area and shop * Performs the opening and closing procedures as outlined in the Tyre Centre Forms * Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary * Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers**.** * Assists with monthly stocktake (inventory) * Cert II in Tyre Fitting Preferred * Must be available to work a rotating schedule which includes morning, evening and weekend work * Must have rights to work in Australia * Must have valid driver licence || Location: | Melbourne - East | |
