The Opportunity

The Senior Project Officer (Assets) plays a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery and integration of the University’s built assets, ensuring all newly constructed, refurbished, and upgraded facilities are accurately captured within the University’s Asset Register and associated systems. Acting as the key link between Asset Management and Project Delivery teams, this role drives the smooth coordination of asset information and handover processes from project completion through to operational acceptance.

Working closely with Project Managers, consultants, Engineering Services, and internal stakeholders, the position is responsible for validating asset data, supporting system access and training, and ensuring critical documentation such as warranties and maintenance manuals are complete and compliant. The role also contributes to improving data integrity, lifecycle visibility, and process consistency through continuous enhancement of asset information management practices and standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to contribute to a data-driven, system-enabled asset management environment within a complex and evolving organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening stakeholder engagement, supporting compliance with asset handover standards, and driving continuous improvement across the University’s asset management processes.
