About The Role

As an Operator Maintainer, you are responsible for the safe and efficient day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of the Hallett Power Station. The role ensures reliable electricity generation while meeting safety, environmental, and commercial standards across the asset’s lifecycle.

This is a permanent position based onsite at the Hallett Power Station. You will be working 7.30am – 4.20pm on a nine day fortnight. This position requires availability to be included in the teams on call roster.

  • Ensure preventative and planned maintenance is performed in accordance with the approved maintenance program
  • Identify and trouble-shoot fault situations
  • Perform inspections (preventative, planned, unplanned) and corrective maintenance, calibrations and repairs
  • Administer and control spare parts, consumables and lubricants on site and be responsible for identifying and ordering replacement items
  • Ensure that team instruments are calibrated and maintained in a safe working order

About You

  • Trade qualified (Electrical and/or Instrumentation)
  • Experience working in a heavy industrial environment or similar
  • Sound technical knowledge and competencies in the operation, maintenance and trouble shooting plant equipment
  • Have a high commitment to safety and strong communication skills
