As part of continued growth within our Victoria Apartments business , we’re seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to join our team, reporting to the Project Director. This role plays a key leadership position in the delivery of a large‑scale, complex urban regeneration project close to the Melbourne CBD, helping guide high‑quality, outcomes that respond to market demand and customer needs.

We’re Looking For a…

Senior Development Manager with extensive experience across apartment and multi-use development, who brings strong commercial judgement, deep market insight and leadership capability to complex urban projects.

What You’ll Do

• Guide the end‑to‑end development of complex apartment and urban projects, from acquisition and feasibility through to delivery, sales launch and settlement.
• Play an active role in assisting the acquisitions team, including site identification, due diligence, feasibility analysis, internal approvals and transaction execution.
• Provide leadership across design, planning, delivery, sales and marketing, ensuring projects are positioned to meet market demand and customer expectations.
• Support and contribute to sales launches, working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to optimise product mix, pricing, branding and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Apply strong market and customer understanding to inform product decisions and maximise commercial and customer outcomes.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with consultants, authorities, agents and internal stakeholders to drive approvals and delivery certainty.
• Play a key role in leading a complex urban regeneration project, navigating risk, complexity and competing priorities using experience and sound judgement.
• Mentor and coach junior Development Managers, supporting capability uplift, engagement and career development within the team.

Experience & Skills That Count

• Extensive experience in delivering apartment and urban development
• Broad exposure across design, planning, delivery, sales and marketing, including experience supporting or leading sales launches
• Proven experience in acquisitions, feasibility analysis and transaction processes
• Sound commercial judgement with the ability to manage complex financial and delivery considerations
• Demonstrated capability in mentoring and developing junior development professionals
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs and product positioning
• Tertiary qualification in Property, Construction or a related discipline (desirable)
