In the role of Senior Associate, you will join the team that’s focused on delivering responsible lending outcomes while ensuring strong risk management and exceptional customer experiences.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Review customers’ financial positions for Home Loan applications, ensuring accurate categorisation and analysis aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to queries from Business Development Managers, Bankers and Lending Operations Underwriters regarding lending scenarios and loan applications.
  • Exercise a Delegated Lending Authority on applications and make recommendations within approved authority.
  • Escalate breaches, material risk issues and potential loss events in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk practices, processes and behaviours across the business unit.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Proven experience in credit underwriting, ideally within a home loan or broker environment.
  • Experience operating with Delegated Lending Authority.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, compliance and Consumer Credit Regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A customer-obsessed mindset with strong problem-solving capability.
  • High attention to detail.
