The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing & Sourcing Manager to join Crown Sydeny. Balancing hands‐on sourcing activity with leadership responsibilities, you will drive execution of category and commodity strategies, ensuring supply solutions align with business requirements, cost objectives and service standards. This role partners closely with site stakeholders, suppliers and the broader procurement function to deliver operational excellence, improve margins and enhance supplier performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading sourcing and expediting activities to optimise cost, quality and service outcomes across Food & Beverage categories
- Driving execution of sourcing strategies and supporting group tenders, supplier consolidation and commercial negotiations
- Managing supplier performance through KPI reviews, continuous improvement and strong relationship management
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs and provide strategic procurement advice
- Leading, coaching and developing a high‐performing sourcing team while driving site‐level procurement excellence
About You
This role suits an experienced procurement and sourcing leader who thrives in fast‐paced operational environments. You bring strong commercial acumen, a hands‐on approach to sourcing and the ability to influence stakeholders while delivering practical and sustainable procurement outcomes.
You are equally comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, with a strong focus on cost optimisation, supplier performance and team leadership within a hospitality or similar environment.
You will bring:
- experience in purchasing or sourcing, ideally within hospitality or a related industry
- Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to identify and deliver cost savings and efficiencies
- Strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience in people leadership, coaching and team development
- Solid systems and data analysis capability, with strong attention to detail and commercial insight
