Digital Canberra is seeking an experienced Unified Communications professional to support a collaboration environment for the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) as part of the Unified Communications team.

The role of the Unified Communications Education Coordinator will require you to provide support for the video conferencing hardware and collaboration platform for the Canberra Institute of Technology, primarily at the CIT Woden campus, with secondary duties for other CIT campuses. This will include fault rectification, deployments, feature management and project work to support new CIT collaboration initiatives. This role requires close coordination with Digital Canberra technical teams and CIT’s administrative and teaching cohorts to deliver the best experience for the learning environment.

Eligibility/Other Requirements

  • This position requires a current ACT Government Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain and hold one.
  • Relevant degree, diploma, certificate, vocational or current industry certificate for Cisco communications and/or relevant work experience is highly desirable.
  • Class C driver licence is essential.
  • This position may require a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to: Apply for or renew a WWVP registration - Access Canberra.

Notes: This is a temporary position available from 30 April 2026 until 30 March 2027 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. ACT based applications are mandatory for this role, as the duties will require you to work on site, primarily from the CIT Woden location.
