The Role

We’re looking for an Audio Engineer to join us one day a week, helping bring audio content to life and ensuring it meets the needs of a range of broadcast platforms. In this role, you’ll design, plan and manage the technical delivery of moderately complex productions, including outside recordings, maintaining consistently high standards throughout.

You’ll support sound recording, editing and mixing to meet program requirements, ensuring every piece is polished and ready for air. Alongside this, you’ll assist with scheduling by populating the Netia playlist with planned content, helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

About You

You’ll bring relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience, along with a real passion for audio broadcasting and a genuine curiosity to keep learning and trying new things. You’re comfortable working with current broadcast technologies, systems and equipment, and have a good understanding of networked audio and how things are evolving across multimedia platforms.

You communicate clearly and build strong working relationships, and you’re able to stay calm and collaborative even when things get busy. You’re confident using computers, especially DAW platforms, and you enjoy being part of a team, understanding how everyone contributes and working together to deliver great outcomes.
