Your part in our Blue Care team
Blue Care operate over 35 retirement villages across Queensland, with more than 3,300 residents choosing to make a Blue Care community their home.
Our welcoming cafe within vibrant retirement communities at Carina is looking for a warm, reliable and skilled Barista/Server/Cook to join their team on a casual basis. This casual role offers flexible, ad hoc shifts and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, meaningful interactions, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests.
What you will be doing:
- Preparing quality coffee and café-style meals
- Creating a friendly, respectful environment for older adults
- Supporting other café teams as needed
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Providing attentive, compassionate customer service
What makes a difference for us?
- Experience as a barista and/or cook (both preferred)
- A caring, patient and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly
- Food Safety and Barista training (preferred but not essential)
