About the Role: A1 Autocare Specialist is seeking a qualified Automotive Light Mechanic to join our workshop on a full-time basis. This role involves the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of light vehicles to ensure high-quality service and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities · Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in petrol vehicles using appropriate diagnostic equipment · Dismantle, repair and reassemble engines, transmissions, steering systems, and other components · Perform scheduled servicing, including oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups · Repair or replace worn or defective parts and ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications · Test and adjust mechanical systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance · Conduct inspections and identify required repairs to meet roadworthiness standards · Maintain accurate service records and follow workshop procedures Requirements · Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) · Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant work experience · Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship How to Apply: If you meet the above criteria and are looking to join a growing automotive business, please submit your application.
