We’re Looking For

An AML Manager who will lead the uplift and ongoing enhancement of Stockland’s AML, sanctions, fraud, bribery and corruption program while partnering with stakeholders across the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Stockland’s AML Program and policies, supporting obligations under AML Tranche 2 reforms.• Conduct KYC, CDD and ECDD reviews across real estate customers and wholesale investors, and oversee reputational and sanctions screening activities.
  • Manage the outsourced AML CTF vendor system, ensuring effective transaction monitoring alerts, rules and system enhancements.
  • Prepare and review AUSTRAC suspicious matter reports and support AUSTRAC, governance committee and Board reporting.
  • Provide timely, practical financial crime advice to stakeholders and deliver AML CTF training to employees.
  • Support fraud, bribery and corruption risk assessments and investigations and collaborate with the Group Risk team on broader compliance uplift initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including AUSTRAC, independent reviewers, capital partners and legal advisers.
  • Lead, coach and mentor the AML Analyst to support development and high performance.

Experience & Skills That Count

  • Minimum five years' experience in AML or financial crime roles within Australian regulatory environment
  • Strong understanding of Australian AML legislation and AML Tranche 2 reforms.
  • Experience conducting CDD and ECDD reviews and transaction monitoring.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing AUSTRAC suspicious matter reports.
  • Exposure to sanctions reviews and financial crime investigations.
