As the Head of Divisional Controls, you will work across the Group Chief Operating Officer Division.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
Manage operational risk and regulatory obligation identification, impact assessment and change across Customer Services, Group Marketing, Customer Experience, Legal and Group Governance
Advise business leaders on the application of the operational risk and compliance management framework to evaluate risks and controls to achieve business outcomes
Work with the business to implement systems and controls to manage the requirements of operational risk and compliance policies which apply to the business
Design controls: assisting to identify the right controls to mitigate risks and obligations applicable to the business
Provide guidance on risk and control items including Subject Matter Expertise for the following: Risks, Obligations, Controls, Events, Change, and related Policies; Remediation action plans to address any control design or operating effectiveness gaps
Provide business specific input and context to: Risk deep dive reviews, Internal Audit reviews, Assurance reports and Action plans for ineffective operational controls
Assist in regulatory responses and regulatory engagement matters

Risk management and compliance expertise
Controls design, assessment and monitoring
Strong leadership, accountability and judgement
Executive communication and stakeholder engagement
Critical thinking and problem solving
Strong commitment to issue ownership and resolution
10 years + experience in financial services, risk, compliance or operational governance
Demonstrated success operating at executive and enterprise level
Experience leading largescale risk uplift, remediation or regulatory response activity
