Construction is underway at Crown Perth on a range of exciting food, beverage and entertainment venues including a wine bar, beer garden and a premium international food hall. The multi-million development facing Bolton Avenue is the biggest investment in Crown Perth in almost a decade and will feature more than a dozen new venues.
Job Description
The Role
Step into a leadership position within our new Urban Food District Team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering joyful guest experiences through your genuine care and operational excellence.
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to manage daily operations.
- Lead and support a skilled team, fostering excellence and consistency.
- Champion training programs, including HACCP and food safety standards.
- Contribute to budget planning and cost control.
- Ensure every dish meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Apply your hospitality background to enhance service and culinary delivery.
About You
As a Jnr Sous Chef you will bring:
- Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Experience with Vietnamese cuisine is highly regarded, including traditional ingredients and cooking techniques
- A background in Asian Cuisine is also highly regarded
- A strong foundation in team development and kitchen leadership.
- A commitment to ethical practices, equal opportunity, and workplace safety.
Qualifications
Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management
