Salary Range: LGO4 ( $79,414 - $85,123 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience

About The Role
This position plays a key role in supporting the Environmental Health and Regulation Section by strengthening governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across operational and administrative systems. The role supports enhancing service delivery, ensuring data integrity, system reliability, compliance with legislative, regulatory, and organisational requirements. Also acts as key contact for technical issues and escalation.
Qualifications And Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience in a regulatory or business improvement environment.
- Experience or qualifications in project management and/or change management, particularly in system implementation or process redesign.
About You
Our ideal applicant would bring a strong background in business systems, data, and performance improvement, supported by a tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in a regulatory or business improvement environment. With a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within a complex organisation, you have demonstrated expertise in business systems management, data governance, performance reporting, and operational improvement.
You are experienced working across back-end administrative systems and diverse platforms, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies to systems, processes, and reporting practices.
You would have advanced analytical skills, enabling you to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and improvement opportunities, and you would have the experience to design and implement data governance measures that ensure system integrity, compliance, and reliable reporting.
Your excellent written and verbal communication skills allow you to prepare high-quality reports, briefings, presentations, and customer-facing information. You have a proven ability to lead or contribute to system and process change initiatives, mapping and end‑to‑end alignment, with desirable experience in project and/or change management.
