Salary package: $121,359 - $129,772 plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full time, Continuing

Position overview

The Electronic Security Systems Manager plays a critical role in safeguarding the University by overseeing the effective operation, governance, and future development of its electronic security environment. This position is responsible for ensuring reliable and compliant delivery of security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm infrastructure through clear procedures, asset controls, technology standards, and performance measures.

You will lead contract management for security systems providers, monitor performance and compliance, and work closely with contractors to ensure appropriate resourcing within program and budget. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement across the University to resolve issues, manage complaints, and support service improvements.

Key responsibilities include developing and managing standard operating procedures, KPIs, asset registers, false alarm minimisation programs, and lifecycle replacement and procurement plans. You will also deliver minor upgrade works, support major capital projects, manage access control governance, identify emerging security technologies, and participate in after-hours incident response to ensure effective escalation and resolution.
