About the role

What you bring

  • Registered Nurse with APHRA
  • At least five years of nursing experience and a keen attitude to learn
  • ALS Accredited (ideally)
  • Kindness and respect for those around you
  • Ability to work proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
  • Valid authority to work in Australia
  • Ideally ICU/CCU experience
  • Open to 0.5 FTE to 1.0 FTE

Your main duties will include:

  • Managing complex patients, families and working in a team.
  • Managing inotropes/vasopressors
  • Post operative cares

Selection Criteria

  • Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • 5 years recent clinical experience and demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients to understand their needs
  • Commitment to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of Calvary Health Care at all times
