Maintenance Technician – Storm Bay, Full Time - 7 days on/7 days off.

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Storm Bay Marine site, where you will play a key role in maintain equipment, supporting marine operations and ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently and on schedule.

What you will be doing

· Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and minor works on site plant and equipment

· Supporting Marine Operations by ensuring machinery is reliable and downtime is minimised

· Implementing preventative maintenance schedules and coordinating contractors when needed

· Maintaining MEX system an ensuring compliance with safety procedures

· Upholding 5S organisational standards and contributing to continuous improvement

· Liaising with stakeholders to align maintenance activities with operational priorities

· Reporting regularly to the regional manager on maintenance progress issues

What you will bring

· Relevant trade certificate (e.g. Diesel Mechanic, Marine Engineer)

· Welding experience (MIG, TIG and Arc)

· Forklift licence, confined space and working at heights certification or willingness to obtain

· Strong mechanical aptitude and experience servicing plant and equipment

· Sound knowledge of machinery maintenance and repair, including certified/registered plant

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Willingness to undertake further training (e.g. aluminium welding, lathe operations, restricted electrical)

· Effective communication skills to collaborate with operations teams

· Current and valid driver's licence

· Coxswains Grade NC or willingness to obtain
