Join Stockland’s Group Legal and Risk team as a Senior Contract Specialist supporting our Masterplanned Communities portfolio in Perth.

This is a permanent role, offering the opportunity to work on large scale residential developments with long term impact. You will play a key role in ensuring our conveyancing function is delivered accurately, compliantly, and on time, supporting both business outcomes and customer confidence.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced settlement agent, contract or conveyancing professional who enjoys complexity, ownership, and contributing at a senior level within a collaborative, fast paced environment.

We’re Looking For a…

senior contract or conveyancing specialist or settlement agent who is confident managing end to end residential transactions, exercising sound judgment, and building strong working relationships across the business.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will manage the end to end contract and conveyancing process across allocated Masterplanned Communities within Western Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the preparation and execution of contracts, deeds, disclosures, variations, extensions, and terminations
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders and external law firms to initiate and progress conveyancing instructions
  • Reviewing contract terms and amendments and managing escalations in line with internal governance frameworks
  • Managing conditions, obligations, and key dates
  • Creating settlement statements, managing PEXA workspaces, and coordinating settlements
  • Managing deposits, adjustments, reconciliations, duties, and approvals
  • Ensuring documents are executed, distributed, and stored accurately across systems
  • Maintaining compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and Masterplanned Communities compliance plans
  • Supporting reporting and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Sharing knowledge and supporting team capability as required

This role exists to ensure complex residential transactions are delivered with accuracy, consistency, and strong risk management.

Experience & Skills That Count

  • Strong experience in contract administration, conveyancing, or residential property transactions
  • Solid understanding of real estate development and Titles Office registration processes , ideally within Western Australia
  • Demonstrated experience using PEXA
  • Familiarity with systems such as DocuSign, Salesforce, SAP, and SharePoint
  • Ability to manage complex workflows, competing priorities, and compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence handling financial and legal documentation
  • Legal qualifications or conveyancing licences are welcome but not essential. Capability and experience are key.
