Better begins here

Crown Resorts is a great place to visit and it’s an even better place to work, a place where you can play your part in creating fun, memorable, world-class experiences for our guests and our people. We value passion, optimism, and an appetite for change - for the better. Here, you’ll be part of the team, empowered to explore more, experience more and supported by your leader to grow and develop.

The role:

We’re looking for Security Officers to join the team at Crown Sydney, in full-time permanent roles. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for our guests, residents, and team members, whilst assisting a variety of operational departments, as well as our corporate support office.

Our Security Operations team is made up of customer-focused professionals who value respect, teamwork, and integrity. We’re proud to support career growth and welcome people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to work in Sydney’s most luxurious integrated-resort, forming part of a team who genuinely care about each other. If you’re new to security but have strong customer service skills, we encourage you to apply — we provide training and support to help you succeed!

You’ll need flexibility to work across a rotating, 24/7 roster. Our rosters are provided in advance and include a predictable mix of day and night shifts – giving you the opportunity to enjoy a work/life balance and support your personal commitments. Optional overtime opportunities are available for those who are interested!

You’ll be:

  • Monitoring activity and proactively supporting a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all guests and team members
  • Addressing incidents in a timely, discreet, professional, and confidential manner
  • Responding to incidents with a calm, respectful, and safety-first approach, including de-escalation
  • Supporting safe crowd environments, managing potential safety hazards, alarms, emergency situations and building evacuations
  • Escorting or transporting valuables including chips, cash, and documents

You’ll bring:

  • Customer service skills in a front-facing environment (security experience is an advantage but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current 1A NSW Security Licence, First Aid Certificate, RSA & RCG
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NSW Casino Employee Licence (paid for upon commencement)

On offer to you:

  • $32.64 per hour + penalties + superannuation
  • Complimentary meals at our on-site staff restaurant
  • A tailored uniform, that’s washed and laundered free for every shift
  • Discounts at our restaurants and bars on property
  • Accommodation discounts across Crown Resorts in Sydney, Melbourne & Perth
  • Access to discounts across health & wellbeing, novated leasing options & more

As part of the recruitment process, candidates selected to progress will need to complete relevant Police Checks, a functional assessment and be able to obtain a NSW Casino Special Employee License. Successful candidates will also need to attend a compulsory on-boarding and training program run over 2 weeks between Monday – Friday (paid).

On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning. To see our range of benefits and opportunities visit Crown Resorts Careers.
