The role:

The Senior Graphic designer will independently produce effective design concepts, delivering quality, on brand, creative solutions. They will have strong brand experience, developing creative across Perth as a focus, while also supporting Melbourne and Sydney. They will also take briefs from various business units, develop design concepts, present to stakeholders and produce finished art for various marketing collateral including high-end VIP pieces, cross property campaigns and ATL material.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high quality work managing the design process from conception to finished art for both print and digital collateral.
  • Taking the lead on their assigned portfolio offering design and brand expertise.
  • Assist Head Designer in systems, processes, asset management, image library, font licensing, templates, file structure, naming conventions and job numbering.
  • Be part of and encourage a positive and high performing team by participating in staff communication and building effective relationships and rapport with staff.
  • Proactively research industry and design trends, and keep up to date with technology and software.

About you:

  • Graphic Design degree or diploma with minimum 8 years industry experience.
  • Extremely creative in conceptual designs and an expert in finished art.
  • Highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge and Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of using spot colours, varnishes, foils, die lines, embossing, folds and paper stocks.
  • Branding experience and working with style guides.
  • Experience with a fast paced working environment with tight deadlines.
