Primary Objective

To ensure office and toilet facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition on a daily basis.

This position is offered on a casual basis, with ongoing hours available throughout the year. We are seeking someone who is committed to a long-term role.

About the Role

  • Sweep, mop, dust, wipe down, and disinfect surfaces; empty bins and replace consumables
  • Clean toilet blocks on all sites (permanent and demountable) daily or as directed
  • Clean offices on all sites daily or as directed
  • Clean all portable toilets and restock consumables across farm sites daily (numbers vary depending on workforce size)
  • Complete Quality Assurance documentation (e.g. cleaning logbooks) to meet auditing requirements
  • Report faults or maintenance issues to your Line Manager
  • Report any concerns related to your role, including safety issues, to your Line Manager
  • Forecast required cleaning supplies and provide visibility to the Logistics and Warehouse Lead
  • Perform other cleaning duties as required or directed by your Line Manager
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as required

About You

  • Good communication skills and a strong team player
  • Ability to meet cleaning standards required by Costa Berries
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and adjust work performance as required
  • Strong work ethic and pride in your work
  • Ability to perform moderate to high physical activity in varying weather conditions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work weekends if required
