Join Stockland’s Queensland Masterplanned Communities team and play a key role in shaping vibrant residential communities across the state. As an Assistant Development Manager, you’ll support the delivery of our built form pipeline, including medium density projects that bring our communities to life.
We're Looking For
An emerging development professional with a passion for shaping great places and supporting the successful delivery of Queensland’s growing built form portfolio.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Development Director, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the planning, design and delivery of Stockland’s built form projects across Queensland.
In this role, you will:
- Assist in scoping, designing and delivering built form projects in line with strategy, vision, financial targets and project schedules.
- Support financial modelling, contract preparation, procurement activities and approvals processes.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement plans, working with internal teams, consultants, builder partners and authorities.
- Promote cross‑functional collaboration across Marketing, Finance, Sales, Project Management and other teams.
- Support risk management activities, helping identify and close out risks and compliance obligations.
- Participate in project reviews to identify improvements and embed best practice into future projects.
This role exists to help ensure Stockland’s built form developments are delivered efficiently, profitably and with an exceptional customer and community experience.

Experience & Skills That Count
- Tertiary qualifications in property, development, urban planning, construction or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in property development or a related discipline.
- Experience in medium density or built form development highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyse data, manage competing priorities and contribute to contract, financial and approval processes.
