About the Role
As Regional Manager, Broker, you will lead the performance of the broker sales business across your region, driving growth through strong partnerships, disciplined execution, and a clear focus on both broker and customer experience.
You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Business Development Managers, ensuring they have the capability, structure and direction to deliver high-quality lending outcomes and sustainable growth. As part of the Broker Leadership Team, you will play a key role in translating national strategy into practical, region-specific plans that respond to changing market conditions.
Working closely with internal teams across operations, risk, product and strategy, you will ensure consistent and compliant outcomes while maintaining a strong external presence with brokers, aggregators and industry bodies. You will also be responsible for driving performance through clear expectations, data-led decision making and disciplined execution, while continuously identifying new opportunities to grow market share and strengthen broker relationships.
This is a highly visible role with regional accountability and regular interstate travel, offering the opportunity to directly influence the success and growth of the broker channel.
About You
You are an experienced sales leader within the broker or broader financial services environment, with a proven ability to deliver results through strong leadership, clarity of direction and a focus on execution.
You bring experience leading geographically dispersed teams and are known for building high-performing, engaged environments where individuals are held to clear expectations and supported to succeed. You are confident using data to guide decisions, improve performance and identify opportunities for growth.
You are a strong relationship builder who can establish credibility with brokers, aggregators and internal stakeholders, and you are comfortable influencing at all levels. You have a solid understanding of the broker landscape, lending processes and the regulatory environment, and you are able to balance growth ambitions with sound risk management.
Alongside your leadership capability, you bring commercial judgement, strong communication skills and the ability to translate strategy into practical, on-the-ground action. You are adaptable, resilient and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with experience in home lending or mortgage broking seen as an advantage.
