Your Opportunity:

Are you looking to start your career in office administration while gaining a nationally recognised qualification? This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and complete a Certificate III in Business (Administration) while learning valuable, real‐world skills.

We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Office Administration Trainee to support our day‐to‐day operations across our Coffs Harbour and Toormina offices. This role is ideal for a school leaver or someone looking to start or change careers.

You’ll be trained on the job while completing a Certificate III in Business (Administration) through a registered training organisation.

What you’ll be doing

With plenty of support and training, you’ll help out with:

  • General office admin and data entry
  • Answering phones and emails
  • Greeting clients and helping with enquiries
  • Filing, scanning and document prep
  • Assisting the team with day‐to‐day admin tasks

You’ll work across our Coffs Harbour and Toormina offices, so flexibility to travel locally is important.

About you:

We’re not looking for experience – just the right attitude!

  • Keen to learn and build new skills
  • Organised with a good eye for detail
  • Friendly and confident communicating with people
  • Basic computer skills (email, Word, Outlook)
  • Reliable and positive team player
  • Comfortable with numbers and confident chatting with people (both written and spoken)

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.

Your benefits

To ensure our employees feel valued, empowered, and celebrated, we provide a range of employee benefits including:

  • Rewarding work – every day you know you’re making a real difference
  • Not-for-profit salary packaging, reducing your tax (details via AccessPay)
  • Free external, confidential counselling and access to chaplaincy support
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Opportunity to purchase additional annual leave
  • Extra leave including: Mission Australia Thank You Day & Work Anniversary Day off
