About The Role

Working within the Reliability & Planning department, you will be responsible for the management of equipment maintenance systems and productive operation of heavy mining equipment.

This position is offered as a fixed-term 12 month contract.

What you’ll Do

• Plan and coordinate resources, parts, equipment and tooling to ensure safe and efficient execution of weekly maintenance schedules
• Optimise maintenance planning to manage costs, ensuring compliance with supply policies and effective contractor management
• Manage parts and service procurement, maintain accurate stock levels, and develop specifications to support quality outcomes
• Develop and refine routine maintenance procedures, and support the effectiveness of preventative maintenance strategies

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in a maintenance planning role in a mining environment
• Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications are advantageous
• Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture
• Highly developed interpersonal skills enabling liaison at all levels of the organisation
• Active participation to WHC’s STRIVE values (Safety, teamwork, respect, integrity, value, excellence)
