At Crown, our people are at the centre of what we do. We’re seeking a commercially minded and people-focused leader to join our team in a senior operational role, driving both team performance and financial outcomes across Wardrobe & Laundry Services.

People leadership is at the core of this role—your ability to build capability, drive accountability and create a high-performing, engaged team will be critical to delivering both exceptional service and strong financial outcomes across the function.

The role

  • Lead and inspire a large, multi-functional team, building a high-performing culture focused on accountability, engagement and service excellence
  • Oversee end-to-end wardrobe, laundry and dry-cleaning operations, ensuring consistent, efficient and high-quality service delivery
  • Take ownership of significant departmental budgets, managing labour, procurement and operational costs to drive strong financial performance
  • Lead workforce planning, rostering and resource allocation to balance service delivery with cost control
  • Drive team capability through structured onboarding, coaching and performance management, lifting leadership capability across the function
  • Partner with key stakeholders and suppliers to optimise service outcomes, value-for-money procurement and continuous improvement initiatives

About you

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role with responsibility for large teams and complex operations
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, analysing performance and driving cost efficiencies
  • Exceptional people leadership skills, with a track record of coaching, developing and performance managing teams
  • Highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
