Bring your ‘you’ to TPG Telecom, and help us build meaningful relationships and support vibrant, connected communities. We’re better and bolder together.

TPG Telecom started with a belief that we can make things better for Australians. We believe in the power of meaningful relationships to support vibrant, connected communities where everyone belongs. It’s our why; our reason to exist. Now, we’re proud to be one of Australia’s leading mobile and internet providers. We’re not just redefining telco, we’re changing its course. And you play a role in that. A big one. The opportunities are plenty for those who are ready to accept the challenge.

Could that be you?

Your opportunity:

This position is accountable for the delivery of Device and SIM profile testing in the network as required by the Commercial teams, Customer Care and Technology. Its main role is to proactively interface with the relevant Sales and Marketing go-to-market teams, Customer Care, Technology support teams, Device Testing Managed Service Provider and Device Vendors in order to ensure that the testing is scheduled and delivered on time without impacting the quality, performance and user experience of any devices and SIM in the Vodafone network.

You'll make impact by:

  • Deliver device, SIM, and maintenance release (MR) testing on time, aligned with business priorities and go-to-market commitments.
  • Plan and prioritize testing with the Managed Service Provider (Tech Mahindra), ensuring KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations are met.
  • Ensure full compliance with VHA privacy policies, NDAs, and regulatory/standards requirements (3GPP, AS/CA S042, emergency calling, interoperability).
  • Own governance of device and SIM testing outcomes, including review of test reports, defect management, and Go/No-Go readiness.
  • Coordinate testing across internal teams, MSP, OEMs, external labs, and Vodafone Global for local and global devices.
  • Develop device-specific compliance strategies, covering conformance, interoperability, performance, emergency call behavior, and eSIM/eUICC requirements.
  • Manage defects end-to-end: investigation, escalation, vendor engagement, tracking, and resolution, with clear stakeholder communication.
  • Maintain readiness of test environments, tools, equipment, and SIM inventories to support ongoing and ad-hoc testing.
  • Provide clear reporting and insights (weekly and monthly) on testing status, quality trends, risks, and vendor performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in test processes, coverage, efficiency, and cost management, with a strong focus on customer experience and network quality.
  • Support in-market issue investigation and network feature testing in collaboration with customer care, engineering, and product teams.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the mobile telecommunications industry
  • Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Computer, Electrical, or Telecommunications Engineering
  • Strong understanding of GSM, 3G, 4G, 5G, IMS, and device technologies
  • Working knowledge of internet and networking technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, WLAN, VoIP, DNS, email, web technologies)
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills with strong attention to detail

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player

What's in it for you?

  • Flexible hybrid way of working (from home and office)
  • ‘Stay Connected Mobile’ – Access to a free mobile plan
  • ‘Stay Connected NBN’ – Access to a free, high‐speed NBN plan (up to 500 Mbps)
  • ‘Your Leave’ - an additional 4 days of leave to be used whenever you like - every year
  • Access to TPG Learning Hub platform and internal development opportunities
  • Access to Corporate Partner Discounts
