About the Role

At Crown Perth, we’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Front of House Audio Visual Technical Operator to support the seamless delivery of AV across our complex. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering high-quality guest experiences through technology.

You will support the AV Operations Supervisor to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of AV systems and hardware across the entire complex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end AV support across gaming, outlets, events, and conventions, ensuring delivery meets customer requirements and agreed timelines
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems and hardware, including liaising with vendors to resolve faults
  • Support event delivery including setup, operation, and pack down across weekly activations and special events
  • Assist with AV projects, hardware rollouts, and continuous improvements to ensure systems meet operational needs
  • Deliver onsite technical expertise across audio, lighting, content management, and camera systems, including support within Theatre for show operations
  • Perform general maintenance and ensure AV equipment remains in optimal working condition across the complex

This role requires:

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Technical audio capability, with theatre experience highly regarded
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Working at Heights Certificate
  • White Card
  • EWP
  • Relevant Certificate qualification (WAAPA or equivalent)
