About the role

Permanent part-time opportunity to support the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that the Q-TRaCE facility meets and exceeds all TGA requirements necessary to maintain licensing in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines. The position shares responsibility for facilitating continual quality improvement at Q-TRaCE and for ensuring that radiopharmaceuticals manufactured at Q-TRaCE are of high Quality, Safety and Efficacy.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Act as an authorised person with the authority to approve or reject radiopharmaceutical batches for use in humans.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes, applying high-level interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills where necessary.
  • Responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance Manager with preparation and management of TGA and other regulatory agency inspections.
  • Assist with other quality improvement and quality assurance programs within the Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET services as required.
