Today, we are offering a great opportunity for a fuel tanker driver to join our team based in Melbourne.

Job Description

Due to current growth, we are recruiting for a fuel delivery driver to join the Liberty team, based in Melbourne. As a fuel tanker Driver, your responsibilities will be to safely deliver fuel products from local Depots into a mix of regional Liberty customers, including direct in locomotives (DIL).   • Must be prepared to engage in any necessary training including inductions
  • Working a 13 shift rotating shift roster which includes nights & weekends (as well as a rotational Saturday night – approximately 1 in 13 weeks)
  • Driving rigid, single semi or Multi combinations B-Doubles or A-Doubles

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ heavy vehicle driving experience
  • Multi combination (MC) licence is essential
  • Road Train experience highly regarded but not essential
  • A dangerous Goods licence is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience transporting fuel and lubricants highly advantageous, but not essential
  • Ability to load and deliver fuel in compliance to Dangerous Goods Act
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and health practices
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
