We operate high school cafes and university food-halls. We provide live-in college/boarding school meals and special event catering. Our goal is to provide fun, nutritious dining solutions tailored to each cohort.

Currently Chartwells has an apprenticeship chef opportunity working at Saint Ignatius College Riverview, NSW and is looking for our next aspiring chef.

Thinking about starting your career journey toward a fully paid, Australian Nationally Recognised Qualification – Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

• Take pride in your work and genuinely enjoy learning

• Be committed to completing a three-year apprenticeship

• Be punctual and reliable, with flexibility for early morning starts and occasional evening shifts for events

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and work well within a team

Highly regarded:

• Previous experience as a cook or kitchen hand

• Certificate II in Cookery

Most importantly, you have a genuine passion for food and a strong desire to build a successful, ongoing career in commercial cookery.
