What You’ll Be Doing

Due to the planned retirement of a valued team member, an opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Shift Maintenance Technician/Fitter to join our Engineering team.

You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of production plant and equipment, minimising downtime. Your role will involve preventative maintenance tasks, attending to plant and equipment issues, performing installations, repairs, servicing, changeovers and testing to maximise effectiveness and efficiency.

What We’re Looking for

• Trade‐qualified Maintenance Fitter & Turner with 4+ years experience
• Manufacturing experience required (FMCG highly regarded) — mining, gas and heavy industry backgrounds also considered
• Strong mechanical fault‐finding and problem‐solving capability
• Welding/fabrication experience, pneumatics, hydraulics or machining exposure (desirable)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient using computers and maintenance asset management systems
• Understanding of quality standards and OHS safety practices

Flexibility to work day, afternoon and night shifts, plus overtime is essential.
