Job description

The Team:

The Integrated Operations team, consisting of the Roster Support Unit, the Patient Flow, After Hours Nurse Managers, Staffing and Residential Age Care Liaison CNCs. the IOC are responsible for the smooth transition for patients throughout the hospital, the filling of vacant shifts and safe staffing throughout the hospital. The Rostering Support Unit are responsible for providing an efficient and effective administrative and clerical support to managers accessing the Roster Support Unit Services. The team works collaboratively in providing high quality rostering and payroll processes to ensure database integrity, accurate payroll payments and coding are entered into ProAct from staff movements on allocators.

The Role:

In accordance with established policies, guidelines, systems and processes, the Administrative Officer – Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) will:

  • Provide effective rostering and award/payroll support to the hospital managers using the ProAct and Empower systems. Provide administrative support, including training, for Hospital Managers on rostering related issues including collation of staffing related management reports and, in consultation with Nurse Management, coordinate the daily nursing rostering for clinical areas.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, part time, shift worker position, working 64 hours per fortnight, until 31 October 2026.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $73,811 - $79,779 per annum (pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2022
