Job Description

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll support customers with accurate parts advice while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the branch.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Interpret customer requirements and recommend suitable truck, trailer, or automotive parts
  • Use catalogues and systems to accurately source and order parts
  • Process sales, invoices, credits, and warranty claims
  • Provide clear and professional support to customers
  • Assist with picking, packing, and dispatch as needed
  • Support stock control and inventory management
  • Maintain presentation and merchandising standards
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Parts Interpreter OR strong automotive/mechanical knowledge
  • Background in truck, trailer, or heavy vehicle parts (highly regarded)
  • Comfortable using catalogues and inventory systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • A team-focused, reliable approach

Nice to have:

  • LF forklift licence
  • Experience in stock control or warehouse operations
