We are seeking an exceptional executive leader to partner with and support enterprise strategy, innovation and sustainable growth and bring this to life for our people in our BlueCare business, as one of Australia's largest and most trusted aged care providers.

As the Executive General Manager – Innovation & Growth, you will lead BlueCare's strategic agenda, ensuring collaborative partnership with enterprise strategic priorities ensuring these are translated into measurable outcomes that strengthen our market position, enhance customer experiences and deliver long-term organisational sustainability. You will partner with UnitingCare’s enterprise strategy and transformation group, providing executive leadership across BlueCare’s service innovation, commercial growth, portfolio delivery, marketing and sales.

Reporting to the Group Executive, BlueCare, this role is a key advisor to executive and board stakeholders in relation to BlueCare’s strategic vision, leading a diverse portfolio that spans strategy execution, growth initiatives, commercial opportunities, program delivery and innovation across residential and community services

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of BlueCare's enterprise strategy, ensuring strategic priorities are aligned to organisational objectives and measurable outcomes.

  • Drive large-scale transformation and reform initiatives across BlueCare that improve sustainability, customer outcomes and organisational capability.

  • Establish and oversee portfolio governance, ensuring strategic initiatives are prioritised, resourced and delivered effectively in collaboration with UnitingCare strategic priorities.

  • Lead commercial evaluation and investment decision-making frameworks to support sustainable growth opportunities.

  • Identify, develop and scale innovative service models that respond to changing customer needs, funding reforms and market opportunities.

  • Provide strategic leadership across marketing, market presence and sales functions to strengthen brand visibility and drive growth.

  • Use customer insights, market intelligence and performance data to inform strategic planning and decision-making.

  • Build strong partnerships with enterprise strategy executive leaders, governing bodies and external stakeholders to accelerate strategic outcomes.

  • Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team culture focused on innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.

What makes a difference for us?

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Economics, Strategy, Commerce, Health Administration or related discipline

  • Proven executive experience leading large, complex transformation and strategy execution in regulated environments.

  • Demonstrated capability in enterprise portfolio governance, program delivery assurance and benefits realisation

  • Strong commercial acumen, including investment decision support and shaping sustainable growth initiatives

  • Experience engaging credibly with senior executives and Boards, producing clear decision papers and progress reporting

  • Demonstrated capability leading marketing, market presence and sales enablement disciplines to generate and convert demand ethically.

  • Postgraduate qualifications in business or similar as well as Aged Care experience would be seen as advantageous
