The role

Epicurean presents Sydney with a luxurious and elevated buffet dining experience, celebrating a variety of cuisines crafted from the freshest seasonal produce, with dishes thoughtfully curated to inspire guests to create their own unique taste journey. We’re currently seeking a full-time Sushi Chef de Partie with hotel experience to join our vibrant Epicurean kitchen team.

The following responsibilities for this position include but not limited to:

• Proven experience as a sushi chef
• Lead by example and inspire a collaborative, respectful kitchen culture.
• Support Senior Chefs in daily food preparation and service, maintaining consistently high standards.
• Contribute to achieving daily financial targets through efficient and mindful operations.
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and inclusive workplace.

About you

• Strong organisational and communication skills, with a team-first mindset.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Open to learning, feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and passionate about hospitality.
• Previous experience in upscale dining or premium hospitality settings is highly regarded.
