About the role:

Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Signalling Engineering Leader, this role will provide professional leadership and engineering expertise in railway signalling. You will be an integral member of the Control Systems – Signalling team. Features of the role and working environment include:

  • Contemporary office environment located in our brand new, state of the art Fortitude Valley building, supporting a strong work life balance with hybrid working,
  • Exciting new technology projects including a roll out of ETCS Level 2 technology in our Central Queensland Coal Network
  • Rolling program of Asset Renewals projects for our $6 billion Network

About you:

Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent approved qualification) with clearly defined pathway to Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) - Electrical qualification

  • 5+ years' engineering experience (Preferred)
  • Experience in Project Engineering and planning of Signalling Design activities.
  • Signalling Engineering expertise is required in some of the following areas:
  • Processer Based Interlocking design
  • Signalling Design Process
  • Signalling Arrangements and Control Table Design
  • Signalling circuit design
  • Train detection technologies
  • Power supply and surge protection technologies
  • Point Machine technologies
  • Level Crossing technologies
  • IT Networking technologies
  • Principles Testing
  • Product Type Approvals
