Established in 1824, we’re proud to be Australia’s oldest continuously operating company – and we’ve had plenty of time to figure out how to be the best workplace we can be with the support, training and opportunity you need to shape your career your way. We’re proud of our history and deeply committed to sustainably feeding the future - and we’d love you to be part of it.

The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Marketing Manager to join our Australian marketing team for a 12-month maternity leave contract. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of in-market brand and customer activations, bringing our portfolio to life in a way that drives impact and commercial results. You will own the end-to-end process from identifying market opportunities and shaping activation plans to delivering them in close partnership with customers.

Working closely with brand and sales teams, you will play a key role in translating strategy into strong in-market execution. You will collaborate with distribution partners to align on priorities and ensure plans are executed with consistency, quality, and effectiveness across all touchpoints.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan, deliver, and review customer marketing initiatives aligned to brand strategy and Australian sales objectives
  • Execute impactful in-market activations, campaigns, and events across channels, customers, and sub‐segments
  • Partner closely with brand and sales teams to support the Australian brand portfolio and commercial priorities
  • Manage distributor and internal resources to ensure best‐in‐class execution of marketing activity
  • Own in‐market marketing spend, tracking performance and ROI to maximise return on investment
  • Analyse market, customer, and competitor insights to inform strategy, planning, and decision‐making
  • Translate data, trends, and customer feedback into actionable insights and commercial outcomes
  • Continuously improve the customer experience through on‐brand, relevant content and tools
  • Develop and deliver tailored sales tools and assets to support customer engagement and selling

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Brand or Customer Marketing, ideally within FMCG or Food & Beverage
  • Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • Experience working across Australian markets, with exposure to digital and omni‐channel marketing (highly desirable)
  • Proven ability to manage creative, digital and print agencies, along with A&P budgets
  • Strong commercial judgement supported by data‐driven decision making
  • Excellent planning, organisation and project management skills
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication, with strong stakeholder influence
  • Ability to develop clear briefs, tailor content for different audiences, and leverage insights
  • High levels of ownership, accountability and results focus
  • Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating across functions
  • A genuine interest in food, beverage and the dining scene

.
