In this Policy Manager, Group Compliance role you will:

  • Focus on Compliance owned policies, aligned to NAB's policy governance framework
  • Provide subject matter expertise on compliance and conduct policy governance
  • Partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to strengthen NAB’s policy governance framework
  • Ensure policies are clear, effective, and aligned to regulatory and internal requirements
  • Review and challenge policy content to drive consistency, simplicity and usability
  • Provide subject matter expertise on policy governance standards and best practice
  • Support the uplift and continuous improvement of governance processes and frameworks
  • Contribute to regulatory change initiatives impacting policy management

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for experienced professionals who are passionate about governance and driving meaningful change. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • A strong background in policy governance, risk, or compliance within financial services
  • Proven ability to design, review and uplift policy frameworks and standards
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
  • The ability to simplify complex regulatory or risk concepts into clear, practical guidance
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and uplift
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with a high attention to detail
  • Drive, curiosity and a genuine desire to strengthen governance and risk culture across NAB
